CLASS VIII

The Science subject helps students to understand the world around us. It inculcate the creativity and curiosity to learn new things among the students. The topics like crop production, metal and non metal, reproduction in animals, sound, pollution etc are introduced to students in CBSE Class 8 Science. According to my teaching experience, It is very important for students to perform well in Class 8 because of various reasons. Firstly, the syllabus of Class 9 and Class 10 Science is very closely related to that of the CBSE syllabus of Class 8 Science. So, if you do not understand the concepts properly now, you will face difficulty later. Second, if you are planning to appear for competitive exams in the future, like UPSC Civil Services Examination, NTSE and Olympiads, you have to be prepared to face higher level questions which need a clear understanding of the basics and a very strong foundation. This means every single concept in the CBSE syllabus of Class 8 Science must be finished thoroughly.

EXAM Pattern

Before moving to study materials you should aware about Your Exam pattern. Exams organised and controlled by CBSE. As usual Class 8 Annual Exams for the session 2023-24 will also be conducted by all schools internally, according to the guidelines set by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE). Examination pattern, format of question paper and evaluation scheme remains common to all schools across India. Examination pattern helps students understand the criteria according to which exam will be conducted and gives them an idea about how their performance will be evaluated. So, it’s quite important for students to know the latest exam pattern so that they are able to make preparations according to the same.

How to draw diagrams to score more:
To Drawing Biological Diagrams: A few rules to follow.
1. No need for Improvisation-
You can’t use your creative brain to draw biological diagrams on your answer sheet. You should draw what you see in the textbook, NOT what you WANT to see.
2. Use good Pencil-
Make sure you use a good quality pencil for your diagrams. Extra bold or 2H lead pencils are more advisable. And remember NEVER draw your diagrams with a pen.
3. Simplicity is what’s preferable-
