CLASS XII
SYLLABUS for Academic Session 2023-24I am providing You detailed syllabus, As prescribed by CBSE. CBSE evaluate theory and practical separately in Biology subject. In theory there are total 05 Units in Biology such as Reproduction, Genetics and Evolution, Biology and Human Welfare, Biotechnology and its Applications, Ecology and Environment. These Units are divided in to 13 Chapters. Weightage of each unit shown in picture.
Weather I am providing STUDY MATERIAL to support, but you need to adhere with NCERT textbooks during your studies. National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT) provides text books according to recommendation of National Curriculum Framework (NCF). Although NCERT text books are compulsory for all subjects but it is bible for a Biology student. Chapters are written in an easy dialogue style engaging the student constantly while some chapters are in the form of critical comments on the subject matter. I highly recommend NCERT book for CBSE exam, competitive exams, UPSC Civil Services Examination.

STUDY MATERIAL
Salient features:
- Study material is divided in to Notes, Videos and followed by certain exercises. All contents are student friendly and help them prepare for the Unit Tests and final examinations. It provides a comprehensive account of the subject as prescribed in the syllabus.
- Each chapter begins with definitions of important terms, followed by point wise description of contents in easy and lucid language.
- Well illustrated diagrams have been included to make the text more informative and attractive.
- Somewhere i also referred to NCERT diagrams for better understandings.
- Exercise that are given along with the chapters are based on CBSE pattern. presently online Quizzes are mainly designed for objective type questions.

How to draw diagrams in biology to score more:
To Drawing Biological Diagrams: A few rules to follow.
1. No need for Improvisation-
You can’t use your creative brain to draw biological diagrams on your answer sheet. You should draw what you see in the textbook, NOT what you WANT to see.
2. Use good Pencil-
Make sure you use a good quality pencil for your diagrams. Extra bold or 2H lead pencils are more advisable. And remember NEVER draw your diagrams with a pen.
3. Simplicity is what’s preferable-
